UWC is committed to ensuring that every student has the opportunity to experience a UWC education regardless of national, socioeconomic, cultural, racial or religious background. UWC achieves this through selection based on potential and merit, but also by providing scholarships — over 80% of IBDP students selected by a UWC national committee receive full or partial financial support. To continue this work, UWC relies on donations from former students, trusts, foundations, companies and governments.

Support our Fundraising Campaigns
Donate to a specific fundraising campaign by NC Syria.
We’ve secured two scholarships valued at over $156,000 USD combined, from UWC Maastricht in the Netherlands, and UWC East Africa in Tanzania for two Syrian students for entry 2026.
However, these scholarships are currently locked behind a financial wall. While they cover tuition and housing, they don’t include the essential and necessary expenses associated with traveling to/from the schools, visa and study permits, pocket money, and other program-related expenses. Costs that are far out of reach for most Syrian families.
We need your help to raise $9,000 to cover these costs. A year-end gift—big or small—will clear the last hurdle and unlock this opportunity for two deserving Syrian students. Small hinges swing big doors, and we have no doubt that these students will pay it forward.
Worldwide Donations Through UWC International
You can donate to UWC Syria via UWC International. If you are a UK taxpayer, your donation may be eligible for Gift Aid, allowing UWC to claim an additional 25% at no extra cost to you.
Donations in US Dollars
If you prefer to donate in US dollars, or are based in the United States, you can support UWC Syria via our US fiscal sponsors, Myriad USA and Every.org. Donations made through these platforms are tax-deductible for US taxpayers.
