UWC Syria follows a thorough and well-rounded selection process to identify motivated and talented young individuals who align with UWC’s values and mission.
To start your application, we suggest that you:
- Check our eligibility criteria to determine if you are eligible to apply through the National Committee of Syria and if this is the correct route for you to apply.
- Check the UWC selection criteria to determine if you are a good fit for a UWC experience.
- Check our FAQ page for answers to most asked questions.
Once you have determined your eligibility, you can then take the following steps to apply:
- Collect your required documents. This includes:
- School Transcripts of the last two completed academic grades.
- A minimum of one Recommendation Letter.
- Additional certificates of any academic or extracurricular acheivments.
- Complete and submit the UWC Syria NC application form. This includes:
- Completing an online application form with personal details, academic background, extracurricular activities, and motivations for applying to UWC.
- Submitting essays or short responses to demonstrate critical thinking and commitment to UWC values.
- Providing references from teachers, mentors, or community leaders.
- Uploading academic transcripts and other required documents.
- Signed permission from the parent or legal guardian.
Important note regarding the language used in completing the application and additional documents attached:
You may complete the application form in either Arabic or English. We ask that you use the same language all throughout all sections of the application.
All required documents must be in Arabic or English. If any of the school transcripts or additional documents are not available in Arabic or English, applicants are required to provide Arabic or English translation, this can be done without official sworn translation.

- Application Open: 1 September 2025
